The new video by Anna Witt explores the experience of physical distance and psychological proximity. It was created during the lockdown, in workshops with an intergenerational group of women from Feldbach and Graz.

On the occasion of the premier of her work, Anna Witt joins Mirela Baciak and Antoine Turillon to discuss with the project participants about the possibilities for a physical experience of solidarity, despite all social-distancing measures.

Anna Witt (1981, Wasserburg, Germany) is an artist who works with performative interventions and video installations. Her practice deals with the construction of cultural stereotypes and individuals’ positioning within social systems.
