As in the past two years, we would like to take a closer look at and discuss individual artworks with you while trying out different perspectives. Although we can’t offer tours to artworks at various locations in Graz this year, we do invite you to join us for lively conversations at the large shared table via Zoom.

In her intervention in the local newspaper Kleine Zeitung (Styrian edition), Sung Tieu conceives obituaries for precisely those abstract terms that have undergone irreversible changes over these last months of instability. These half-page ads make use of conventional newspaper typography but are actually hand drawings.

Bio

Kristina Gorke (1990, Deutschlandsberg, Austria) is a trained classical singer and chairwoman of accomplices. Verein zur Erkundung multimedialer Ausdrucksformen. She is dedicated to transdisciplinary approaches and tries to make classical music accessible in unconventional contexts. She lives in Graz.

Bernd Gutmannsbauer (1980, Bad Hall, Austria) is a freelance author, philosopher, organizer of a philosophical reading circle, contributor to an audio library of philosophy, chairman of an art gallery, and curator of art exhibitions. His research has focused on the emancipatory role of education and the juxtaposition of humans with technologies. He lives in Vienna.
