The Paranoia TV photo booth at Am Eisernen Tor mixes portraits with photographs of Akinbode Akinbiyi. They address the coarse-grained beauty arising from overlapping images and experiences in the age of global mobility.
On the occasion of his installation for Paranoia TV, Akinbode Akinbiyi joins in conversation with Henriette Gallus to talk about his photographic practice, his poetics, and his assessment of the current conditions.
Bio
Akinbode Akinbiyi (1946, Oxford, United Kingdom) is a photographer and poet. His work offers a uniquely poetic view of everyday life and its manifestations in the epoch of global mobility. He lives in Berlin.
