Sometimes we feel like zombies. We glide through life as though by remote control, more dead than alive. For some people, this feeling is more than just a metaphor. Those with a condition called Cotard’s syndrome, for example, really do think that they are the living dead. In his new show for Paranoia TV, Diederik Peeters explores the inner workings of different disorders. Using spectacular case studies as well as ingenious illusions and puppetry, he draws an impressively precise, albeit abstract picture of the inner life of madness. Tune in for a new delusion every week, always with Dr. Delusion himself.
